Kristina Mason, award-winning jewelry designer for Mason-Kay, has been creating one-of-a-kind jade jewelry since 2007. Specializing in jadeite jade and known for her incredible work in green jade, Kristina designs colored gemstone pieces that range from contemporary to her signature "nouveau traditional" style—forming the foundation of Mason-Kay’s top-selling jade jewelry line.

With a fine arts background from New York University and a decade-long apprenticeship under her mother, artist Eva Brent, Kristina honed her skills in composition, color, and design across various mediums. This training laid the groundwork for her discerning eye and artistry for jade carving and how it can mesh with tasteful jewelry design.

Kristina approaches every jade stone as a unique work of art—analyzing its color, texture, and shape to create designs that complement each piece’s natural beauty. Inspired by traditional jade cutters and carvers, she thoughtfully balances form and function, crafting luxurious jade jewelry meant to evoke emotion and be treasured for generations.
